The Cinco Banderas Collection was conceived and founded in 1988 through the generosity of the Kobacker Foundation. The permanent collection, established through the Arts Council of Northwest Florida, is exhibited in appropriate public locations. The Cinco Banderas Collection is made possible through an endowment fund established to support outstanding individual artists, and to provide funds for non-traditional arts programs in Northwest Florida. Major funding has been provided by the Florida Arts Council/Division of Cultural Affairs, and by donors to the United Arts Funds of the Arts Council of Northwest Florida. The Arts Council proudly acknowledges the help and partnership of Artel Gallery.
